A specialist visits to inspect the color and moisture levels of the moss, using a fine-mist sprayer to keep the surface moist without allowing water to pool. They clean water stains and debris from the inner glass walls and trim overgrown moss or fern fronds to maintain the landscape’s distinct layering.
The substrate is checked monthly for compaction or mold, with the top layer of bedding material replaced promptly as needed. Small decorative elements within the landscape are wiped clean and repositioned. The specialist also monitors for unwanted fungal growth, removing any affected areas immediately.
This service is performed every two weeks to preserve the micro-landscape’s fresh, clear appearance. Although moss grows slowly, its condition can change noticeably; regular maintenance ensures the landscape retains the exquisite look it had when first created.
