Description
This service provides meticulous care for small bonsai and shaped potted plants. Specialists visit regularly to prune and shape the plants, removing unruly “leggy” shoots and misplaced new buds to preserve the bonsai’s original structural design and layering. Aluminum wire is used to wrap and adjust the angles of branches requiring training.
Watering is performed using a fine-spouted can to gently mist the plants, avoiding the displacement of moss or topsoil. Soil moisture levels are monitored, with watering controlled to keep the soil slightly on the drier side. Repotting and root pruning are conducted annually in the spring—involving the trimming of overgrown roots and soil replacement—to ensure the bonsai’s long-term health.
This service is provided twice a month, with detailed records of pruning and maintenance kept on file; this allows you to enjoy the beauty of your bonsai while benefiting from ongoing technical support.
